This course teaches trauma‑informed assessment, phase‑based stabilization, somatic and cognitive‑EMDR adaptations, cultural safety for Indigenous and immigrant clients, and integrated relapse prevention for complex trauma within addiction treatment. What you'll learn

Requirements

  • Current clinical role or enrolment in a Canadian health/social services program (counsellor, nurse, social worker, allied health or equivalent).
  • Foundational knowledge of trauma‑informed care and basic competencies in addiction or mental health assessment (prior introductory TIC training recommended).
