A comprehensive 20-hour advanced-level course providing in-depth training in motivational interviewing and the stages of change model. This course integrates theoretical foundations with practical application in Canadian healthcare and addiction recovery settings. Participants will develop advanced MI competencies including client engagement strategies, assessment instruments, change talk elicitation, and resistance management. What you'll learn
