What you'll learn

Describe core relapse prevention models and Canadian clinical guidance (e.g., CRISM, BCCSU, CAMH) relevant to substance use and mental health.
Apply brief screening, psychosocial interventions (CBT-informed relapse prevention, Motivational Interviewing), and coping strategies to develop client-centred relapse prevention plans.
Integrate pharmacotherapy (OAT options) and harm-reduction approaches into relapse prevention, and navigate regulatory and documentation considerations in Canadian settings.
