A 12-hour advanced intermediate-level course examining how substance use affects the entire family system and how family therapy can facilitate recovery. This course covers family systems theory, evidence-based family interventions, cultural considerations, clinical decision-making, and integration of family therapy within Canadian treatment contexts. Participants will explore how to work effectively with families affected by substance use, apply culturally responsive practices, and implement evidence-based approaches in their clinical settings.
