Waking the Tiger: Somatic Approaches to Trauma

A 15-hour advanced-level course based on Peter Levine's somatic experiencing approach to trauma resolution. Designed for Canadian mental health professionals, this course covers the body's innate healing capacity, trauma symptoms and their neurobiological origins, and practical techniques for helping clients safely process and transform traumatic experiences through body-based interventions. Participants will develop competency in somatic experiencing techniques including pendulation, titration, resourcing, and grounding within a trauma-informed, Canadian practice context.
